The LS82 is a solid choice for a portable DVD player. The image quality is very good, plus there's enough battery life for two or three movies before recharging.
Just bought this an took it on a long airplane ride hoping to pass the time a little more quickly. But I could not get the volume loud enough to hear any music or dialog with headphones - so pretty much useless. The same will be true in a car as well...
The DVD player itself works fine. Although, you do NOT receive 12 hours of playback. I would say it's more like 6 hours. In small writing on the box, it does say you have to have the brightness set at the lowest level and use headphones. My problem...
