Pinches the ear

Bottom Line

Summary

Let's face it, you're going to buy a bluetooth headset. Oh, you can certainly fight it as long as you can, but you will buy one and soon. Why? Because it is becoming law to have a hands free set up with your cell phone in the car. It already is in...

Somewhat uncomfortable, a little on the pricy side

Summary

The Jawbone is one of the few headsets available that incorporates a real noise reduction system. Most headsets generically labeled as "noise cancelling" or "DSP processor" just don't deliver. I'm comparing this product with the only one other really...

Strength

Noise reduction works as advertised. Cool look, in the package and in use.

Weakness

Poor fit, included accessories don't help. So-So battery life. Poor usability

Bottom Line

Usability and fit are concerns for this high tech headset.

Summary

...well, I do talk to myself sometimes, now I have an alibi...Jawbone! I decided I needed a bluetooth device for a couple of reasons... 1. I do a lot of freeway driving, and, although there is no law against talking on a cellphone while driving in...

Strength

Noise Shield technology really works, interchangeable earbuds and ear loops for a customized fit.

Weakness

Expensive, a little heavy, may not be able to get the perfect fit for you.

Bottom Line

It really does what it claims and is the closest thing to a perfect fit. Stylish and understated, I sometimes forget I'm wearing it.

Summary

Purchased my black Jawbone last month to augment my collection of Bluetooth headsets. I, like many others have been in search of the perfect BT headset. Headsets I've tried I started with the Motorola BT headsets, the HS810 & the H700, they...

Strength

Good noise cancellation, long battery life, the fit is perfect with a custom molded earpiece.

Weakness

Function buttons kinda hard to use, non-standard battery charger (should have been a mini USB)

Bottom Line

The fit was really awful but I liked the functionality of this headset, now with the custom molded earpiece it's a pleasure to wear & use.

Summary

We had tried a few different bluetooths with 'noise reduction' (or Audio IQ) and they were awful. Oh, not for the one using it, but for everyone else who had to hear them! EVERYTIME my husband used another bluetooth it sounded like he was in a laundry...

Strength

Clear Sound, the Noise Reduction really works, light and comfortable.

Weakness

Little costly, but worth it. Other than that, none.

Bottom Line

Give it a try. It'll be the last one you buy.

Summary

I really wanted to like this headset but my experience has been horrible. I'm very experienced with cell phones and bluetooth ear pieces, and this is by far the worst of the bunch. The worst feature is supposed to be the coolest - No visible buttons!...

Strength

When it works, it works very well, but it hard to keep working without interruption.

Weakness

Way overpriced, too hard to fit properly, unreliable performance, difficult to use while wearing.

Bottom Line

Unless you are a masochist, run away from this unit as fast as you can! Too Expensive for what you get. Who needs to pay over $100 to be frustrated?
